Our school is a close and caring community, which values each child as an individual. At Grayshott Primary School we equip our children with the academic, social and emotional skills necessary to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Staff are committed to encouraging high standards of work and behaviour.

Children at Grayshott Primary experience a broad and balanced curriculum, with an emphasis on literacy and numeracy skills. We aim to make learning irresistible with imaginative teaching and exciting opportunities and visits. PE, Music and Spanish (at KS2) are taught by specialist teachers, ensuring excellent teaching in these subjects and allowing our class teachers to focus on the core subjects.

Our children benefit from excellent facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool, a nature area, a large playground and field, a well-stocked library, flexible learning spaces and modern technology.

The school is a vital part of the wider community and has a close association with St. Luke’s Church, Grayshott. Our Christian values underpin everything we do and have a positive impact on children’s self-esteem and their attitudes to learning.

There is a high level of parent involvement in all aspects of school life and the PTA works tirelessly to raise funds for the school and to enrich the children’s learning.

We were very pleased to be judged ‘Good’ in our most recent Ofsted and SIAMS inspections. In keeping with our motto ‘Children at the Centre of a Learning Community’, we are constantly learning and striving to achieve even more as we move towards ‘Outstanding’.

We are very proud of our school and appointments to visit us in action are warmly welcomed.
